Category: Stamping and Metal Cutting

Satmping and metal work go hand in hand, and our customers have created some wonderfully creative things with our products. So in order the spread the inspiration, we have devoted a category to the ideas and inspirational works of the metal work community. They create dog tags, key rings, neckalces, labels, earings, shapes and all types of different textures on metal that can make creative, beautiful work.

Have you seen our Zodiac Horoscope metal stamps?  This set of 12 punches are made from hardened steel with a bevelled edge shaft approximately 8cm long which provides a comfortable grip.  The image on each is a good depth to give a clear impression approximately 8mm round. These stamps are suitable for use on all soft metals and wood.  (Metal blanks in photo were kindly gifted by Melanie at JustSimplyBlanks.co.uk)

This is just one of a range of stamp sets we have listed in different fonts and designs.  Why not pop over to the website and have a look.

Metal stamping is often associated with jewellery making but recently here at Proops Brothers we have noticed an increasing trend in metal stamping on cutlery. Metal stamping, specifically on spoons, can be a great way of adding charm and uniqueness to your standard silver spoons and are becoming more popular to buy on sites such as Etsy.

Jessica Numbers inspired us to write this blog as we love the quirkiness of the products she creates. Why not have a look at her shop on Etsy, jessicaNdesigns, to get some inspiration; whether it is to make your own or to buy as a gift.
