You will receive 3 x long tapered rocket candle mould 9 1/2" 7/8" at the top tapering to 3/8" at the bottom.

If you are new to candle making or have not used rigid plastic moulds before here are a few tips to get a good finish: Use candle mould seal putty (or you can use a little piece of bluetac) to cover the wick hole and any seams, this keeps the wick still and stops any wax escaping. You can get mould release spray from craft shops. This is good to coat the mould before you use it, but you can also use a little olive oil spray too. Remember not to pour in your wax too hot and pour slowly. Allow the candles to set fully before trying to remove - at least 24 hours. If still a little tight to the mould after this time, ONLY WHEN FULLY COOLED AND SET, pop into the fridge for a short time, this shrinks the wax a little and the candles should just pop out. Christmas Candlelit Services

I have used six of these moulds for some years for our Church's Candlelit Services at Christmas. It always annoyed me that after the two services we held over the Christmas period where we had a purely candlelit services, that we had a pile of half burnt candle. So I experimented with melting them down and saved around ninety pounds on new candles covering the services. I am looking at ordering more moulds so that I can save time on remelting, as over the Christmas period the Church needs around four hundred and eighty. I only have one slight grievance with the moulds, the clips that hold the two half's of the moulds together soon fail, I replaced them with spring clips usually seen holding sheets of paper together. I note in the description that the moulds are made in the UK, much kudos for that.

To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
Trim wick to 5mm before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and
wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant container. Do not burn the candle
for more than 4 hours at a time. Never burn a candle to the bottom. The candle must be removed
from the plastic mould before it is lit.
