Product Description

  • Steel ring forming split die set suitable for use with soft metals.
  • This set includes four split die pairs which when placed together form anticlastic dies for forming rings. 
  • The size of the dies when placed together in pairs is approximately 25mm long x 12mm diameter at narrowest point.
  • The bevelled working area of each pair of dies when placed together measures approximately:
    • Extra wide : 22mm 
    • Original wide: 18mm 
    • Original Narrow: 12mm 
    • Extra Narrow: 7mm 
  • Overall size of the tool without shoulder bolts is 152mm x 30mm.
  • Main body of the tool is a hexagonal shape to give a secure grip when used in a vice.
  • A dowel pin is also supplied to allow ring forming when used in a hydraulic press.
