You will receive 12 candle moulds including the following:
Votive candle mould:
- Approx 52mm high and 43mm in diameter.
Long tapered rocket candle mould:
- 9 1/2" long.
- 7/8" at the top tapering to 3/8" at the bottom.
4 sided pyramid candle mould with removable stand/base:
- Mould produces candles approximately 4" tall, with a base of 3" square.
Square top, rectangular tapered side candle mould:
- Top and sides measure 60 x 60 x 120mm tapering down slightly,
- Square on the bottom measures 50 x 50mm.
Pillar shaped candle mould:
- 4 1/2" high and 2" dia.
Sphere candle mould:
- 3" in diameter
Candle mould tray with 4 shapes:
- Heart Shaped- width (biggest part) is 67mm. Bottom tip to top tip is 61mm. Depth 30mm.
- Flower Shaped- depth 30mm, width 75mm, ridge to ridge 19mm.
- Ridged Dome- diameter 71mm, ridge to ridge 7mm, depth 30mm.
- Star shaped- width 59mm, ridge to ridge is 23mm, depth is 30mm.
6 sided star shaped tapered candle mould with removable stand/base:
- Mould produces candles approximately 4.3" tall, and measures approx 4.3" from one point of the star to another.
5 sided pentagon pillar candle mould:
- Creates candles that are 71mm or 2.8" wide x 114mm or 4 1/2" high.
Set of birthday cake candle moulds, letters, capital letters, A - Z:
- Each letter measures approx 37mm square (excluding where the stick goes), you can see a place to put a cocktail stick or the like.
Set of number birthday cake candle moulds:
- Each number measures about 45mm x 30mm plus a place to put a cocktail stick or the like.
A step by step guide on how to use the number or alphabet mould tray:
1. Start by using a bit of mould release spray or olive oil spray in each of the number/letter moulds.
2. Secondly place a cocktail stick in each of the allotted slots below the number/letter.
3. Then place a bit of blu tack at the bottom of the number where the mould meets the cocktail stick to make sure the wax does not leak.
4. Using approximately 30mm of wick, place the wick in the mould, making sure it touches the top of the gap above the number/letter.
5. Put some more blu tack at the top of the number to ensure the wax does not leak through to the top of the wick.
6. Pour in your wax and leave your candle to set.
7. Once your candles have set, remove both pieces of blue tac and carefully remove each mould starting from the bottom of the cocktail stick where there is an area to prise with your finger. Or alternatively, you can gently turn the tray over for those moulds that may be more difficult to release, but please be careful not to break them.
Here’s a few tips to get a good finish: Remember not to pour in your wax too hot ... pour wax in slowly, use a bit of blue tack to cover any holes, this keeps the wick still and stops any extra wax escaping. You can get mould release spray from craft shops. This is good to coat the mould before you use it, but you can also use a bit of olive oil spray too. We hope this helps.
