Prevent grass and weeds from growing around your trees or shrubs which saves time on garden maintenance.
The winged hole of the mat expands as the tree grows.
These mats are flexible and easy to use and are made from a recycled UV resistant rubber material.
The ground pegs are made of hard plastic and have a serrated body so they hold the mat firmly in the ground.
Dimensions or the tree guard mat:
- Diameter of the winged hole: ranging from 28mm to a maximum of 135mm
- Diameter of the mat overall: 265mm
Dimensions of the ground pegs:
- Length: 70mm
- Diameter of the round peg head: 20mm
- Diameter of the serrated main body: 10mm

This is a great product for keeping the grass and weeds from growing around my young apple trees. It will also save my knees from having to get down on the ground to keep trimming round the trunk. I don't use a strimmer myself, but I can image it reduces the risk of a strimmer cutting into the bark of small trees and shrubs.

A great idea!
