Here we have another fantastic set from Proops Brothers Ltd.
Woodworking set consisting of 3 Sheffield made cabinet scrapers and 2 slim burnishers.
Cabinet scrapers:
- 1 x Concave/Convex scraper 140mm x 50mm.
- 2 x rectangle scrapers,100mm x 50mm (4" x 2"), 125mm x 63mm (5" x 2.5").
These are ideal for smoothing and removing unevenness on wood, removing old varnish etc.
For best results, hold the scrapers at a 45 degree angle.
We would recommend sharpening before use.
2 slim stainless steel burnishers.
- 1 curved : Overall length including wooden handle: 150mm, Length of 'blade': 50mm.
- 1 straight : Overall length of burnisher including handle: 150mm, Length of 'blade': 50mm
Burnishers are useful tools to put an edge on the cabinet scrapers.
